The Taurus Fast Track Internship has truly been amazing. I have not only been able to further develop my skills from my degree but also learnt new things you would never have dreamt of learning at university. I got to experience real PR and Marketing life and how to be successful in those areas.
During my time with Taurus I’ve worked on clippings, media lists, ROI’s and research tasks. I was also able to assist in the coordination of events and learn the ins and outs of event planning. Whilst at Taurus I have developed my communication skills with the friendly team members and greeting clients. My confidence has skyrocketed, and now feel prepared for a career in PR and Marketing.
It’s been an absolute honour to have interned for a reputable and well know PR and Marketing company. The Taurus team are so welcoming and never made me feel out of place. From the moment I started my internship every team member has treated me with respect, offering guidance whenever needed. Interning at Taurus is not like the cliché internship you imagine.
The top three things I have learnt throughout my internship is to:
- Never be scared to ask, even if you think it’s a silly question
- The importance of multitasking to meet deadlines by the end of the day
- Enjoy what you do, because if you don’t, what you produce won’t be your best work
To future interns, always have a positive attitude and listen to what you are being taught. The first few weeks may be nerve-wracking but in no time, you will feel part of the Taurus Team. Complete every task to the utmost standard and be confident to get great results. But most of all enjoy it!
