Taurus builds new awareness of work-related mental health

The early days of COVID-19 witnessed and escalated an emerging consciousness of the impact of our mental health at work. That scenario played out every day and has now emerged in a different new normal post-pandemic. 

 2OP Health is an Organisational and Occupational psychiatric service specialising in workplace related mental health care. Director and Psychiatrist, Dr. Frank Chow founded 2OP Health in 2018 after years of clinical experience in treating mental health issues associated with workplace difficulties. Dr. Chow aims to be part of the solution in improving and educating Australia on the increasing issues around mental health in the workplace and its impacts to the health systems and economy. 

Taurus Bullseye™ 360 marcomms strategy sets success 

From its inception, 2OP Health has grown through regular referrals but is facing fierce competition in the Sydney CBD. They were looking for a clear marketing and media strategy and needed counsel on key messaging and positioning. 

In 2019, Taurus was chosen to grow and establish the 2OP Health brand, raise the profile of key spokespeople and build conversations around taking care of our mental health at work. 

Realising the importance of this message, the Taurus team hit the ground running and established a 360 marcomms strategy using our trademarked Taurus Bullseye™ methodology. Taurus worked closely with Dr. Frank Chow to gather resources and formulate a marketing plan to determine a way forward.

Creating strategic media presence through Taurus PR© 

Taurus positioned Dr. Chow as a workplace mental health expert by constantly monitoring media conversations, key dates and events to generate newsworthy content throughout the duration of the campaign. 

We worked with Dr. Chow to set media expectations, workshopped key messages and provide media tips and interview briefs to ensure maximum impact to his profile and that of 2OP Health.

Taurus also established social media accounts to boost 2OP Health business

The team worked closely with Dr Frank Chow on his personal Facebook and LinkedIn accounts, resulting in an increasing number of followers, engagement rate and post reviews. This involved creating tailored posts  to communicate key messages and highlight the company’s service offerings to target audiences.

More than just PR: we built 2OP Health a methodology 

Taurus identified the need for 2OP Health to highlight its offerings in a simpler form. Working closely with the 2OP Health team and our graphic design team, we developed a methodology and process that encompasses their key approach to recovery. 

Through the recommendations identified from the Taurus Bullseye™ strategy session, Taurus also audited, advised and revamped the 2OP Health branding and their website to ensure it reflected the changes to the business and the new key messages and positioning.
