Taurus launches Littlescribe and world's first Co-Author Program

Working with authors and actors to drive children's literacy
Innovative Literacy Platform
Innovative online literacy platform, Littlescribe chose Taurus to help launch a world first Co-author Program allowing school students to form relationships with beloved authors not only as readers, but as writers and more uniquely as co-authors. The line-up of signed authors included Andrew Daddo, Oliver Phommavanh, Katrina McKelvey, Tristan Bancks, Deborah Abela and more.
Founded by Jenny Atkinson, Littlescribe ensures every child writes with purpose and teachers have a suite of optimal learning methods to drive student progress. The platform engages all writing approaches including handwriting, drawing, typed form, verbal storytelling, music and art; all effective methods to engage and start the writing process. With Littlescribe, children can digitise, print a copy, share and sell their original work which means that any child can become an author.

Littlescribe engages Taurus Bullseye™ to create strategy
The Challenge
In an initiative to address the declining levels of literacy in Australia, Taurus worked with Jenny to create a strong brand message and build awareness of Littlescribe nationwide. The campaign was built around the powerful key proposition to “bring purpose to children’s writing”.
“I see a world where children’s writing is seen everywhere, revered, respected and read. I see a world that mentions a child’s name as an answer when I ask who your favourite author is?”
– Jenny Atkinson, CEO and Founder of Littlescribe
The campaign positioned Littlescribe and Jenny as leaders in the education industry and EduTech space. Through Littlescribe, Jenny wanted to provide meaningful individual learning outcomes for children and offer a national solution to arrest the declining levels of reading and writing in Australia.
Under the Taurus Bullseye™ methodology, Taurus conducted a marketing strategy session to outline the business plan, set priorities, a cost-effective marketing approach to help the company grow and promote Jenny’s expert opinion on children literacy. Taurus helped set business objectives, growth plans, marketing, brand and communication initiatives.
