Table Tennis Australia launches National Table Tennis Corporate Cup and invites you to join in!

Table Tennis Australia is reaching out to corporates around Australia to attract new players and raise the fitness levels of working Australians with the launch of the Corporate Cup!

The Corporate Cup had its inaugural launch at this year’s StartCon and will be kicking off the competition in February 2020. The cup is an inclusive wellness program focused on getting the inactive active, promoting diversity, inclusion and build employee engagement and provide corporate health and wellness benefits.

Jamie Olson, VP at Nuix and TTA President shares, “Table tennis is an inclusive and accessible sport and one of the few sports that transcends age, race, disability and socio-economic background. Almost every company I talk to has a table tennis table and companies like Google and Amazon are already running Friday afternoon competitions to engage staff. We want to take this to the next level and engage, excite and foster communities within and between companies.”

The Table Tennis Corporate Cup is run through TryThis, a digital sporting platform which provides the opportunity to expand the reach and maximise scale of the Table Tennis Corporate Cup throughout Australia. The intuitive interface helps enhance staff motivation and provides companies with the opportunity to track participation and engagement.

The Table Tennis Corporate Cup is supported and backed by The Australian Sports Commission, Try This and ambassador Melissa Tapper, Commonwealth Games Gold medalist and the first Australian athlete to participate at both, Olympics and Paralympic Games.
