My TaurusAcademy© internship has been an enjoyable and educational experience that has provided me with many valuable insights into the world of marketing and public relations. I am incredibly lucky to have had the opportunity to work with and learn from the amazing team at Taurus.
From day one the entire team at Taurus were welcoming and supportive. Upon starting, I immediately felt encouraged and engaged by the work and mentorship Taurus was providing, despite my internship beginning during lockdown. I promptly learnt how each member of the Taurus team held valuable insights and lessons.
The TaurusAcademy© internship challenged me to develop a deeper understanding of the theories and skills that had been taught throughout my degree. I was encouraged to think outside the box and apply myself. With no two days the same, I have been able to develop a vast range of media production skills, practice my critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
The variety of work I undertook with Taurus taught me a range of marketing and public relation strategies, industry jargon, and general business skills. I found the most educational value in client presentations, media pitches and media research, as this allowed me to not only broaden my skills and working knowledge of public relations, but to work closely with senior members of the Taurus team who could provide beneficial feedback, knowledge, and insights.
I am grateful to have been a part of the TaurusAcademy© internship program and to have had the opportunity to learn from such great minds. I look forward to applying all the skills, insights and lessons I have gained from Taurus in the future.
