23 years, 1000 brands, with people we ‘get’ across industry
Taurus began in 1995 when founder Sharon Williams was personally chosen by Tech Entrepreneur Peter Kazacos, former CEO of The KAZ Group to help build the KAZ brand into the largest IT services company in Australia. Peter sought and selected Sharon personally from her international reputation with Global Tech Start up and IBM Business Partner Synon Inc. Working together with Peter and the Directors directly, through acquisitions, KAZ became the most successful IT IPO float of the year in 2003 when the company sold for $340m.
Based on this success, referrals to our team grew and while our sweet spot remains B2B tech companies, as our long term clients and captains of industry have branched into other sectors, so have we! We’ve had extraordinary wins with B2C, consumer, NFP, professional services and education and run Australia’s largest community campaigns too. Life at Taurus, is about doing great work with people we like.

Feedback from our Clients
TeleWare Australia & New Zealand, Managing Director, Mike Blanchard"Absolutely outstanding! Taurus have got the market completely wired. In our first month we got a page in The Australian and that has culminated in the front cover of Voice & Data. We couldn't have picked a better agency for PR. Taurus and the woman behind the organisation - I trust implicitly with my business!"
Cybersecurity & Digital Identity Tech Entrepreneur & Investor, Ted Egan“I highly recommend Taurus as a former customer. The Taurus team has a diverse level of skills across PR and marketing and what I like most is their ability to really get deep, learn and take developing businesses to their target market and produce results. When I first worked with Taurus they took on the challenge of filling in as an extension of my company in the marketing /PR roles. Could not have been happier. Highly recommended.”
ConnXion, CEO, David Colvin“It makes sound business sense for a company of our size and needs to work with an agency that offers a broad range of marketing, PR and creative services. I use Taurus as my marketing department.”
Partner, Cor Cordis, Alan Walker“We needed immediate media strategy to deal with a new engagement that was highly political – I chose Taurus because the team presented themselves professionally and I had a good feeling that they could deliver what was required. I would absolutely recommend future businesses to Taurus. They have demonstrated that they can deliver on the brief and are very client focused. Taurus proved good value for money and have continued to provide advice and feedback after the engagement.”
Bible Society CEO, Daniel Willis“Both Taurus’ team and our team here at Bible Society worked hand in glove, daily, to bring about the overall objectives. It’s been a very good relationship. We rolled out a daily program on Twitter to engage people and we picked up a Facebook fan following, and again we looked at feeding that daily with comments and information so that people could respond to the campaign. As a result of that, today we’ve got something like 25,000 regular users on that Facebook page and they constantly engage with the ongoing aspects of Jesus – All About Life.”
MYOB, Chief Strategy Officer , Dominic O’Hanlon“Sharon in particular, but a number of her staff as well, have helped me in the way I think about the business and the way that I build the brand, not in the way I build the brand for myself personally, but how I build the brand for the company.I think I’ve gained more from Taurus, not by using them to do what I wanted to do, but by listening to what they advice me to do.It’s like if you sit in a room with a business mentor, or a coach or somebody that really has a depth of knowledge in their chosen field, that’s certainly something that Taurus brings to the table and has brought to the table for me throughout the last fifteen years of my career.”
Snapdragon Consulting, Managing Director, Guy Riddle“On a scale of one to ten I would rate Taurus a definite ten. They fully understand our business and provide us with a fast, effective service that helps our business stand out from the crowd.”
Osteoporosis Australia, CEO, Judy Stenmark"We initially retained Taurus to manage press relations and secure Joan Collins as guest of honour for our annual fundraiser the ‘Bone Ball’. As a Not For Profit (NFP) organisation, value for money and results are of utmost importance to us as we have to justify every cent we spend, so we really appreciated the extra effort Taurus delivered. We find Taurus Marketing innovative, efficient and they possess an appropriate sense of urgency to progress projects. The team are always on hand and respond immediately and effectively to our requests. The work they produce is of a consistently high standard and Taurus is always willing to go beyond the call of duty to get the job done.Above all Taurus is friendly and approachable which makes working with them an easy, productive and enjoyable experience."
Exhibition Supplier, Ben Russell“I have worked with Taurus on numerous display and exhibition jobs over the last five years. All with great results for our customers! In the display industry deadlines are always crucial (the show will not wait!). Despite the pressures that these deadlines add to the task at hand, I have not once seen Taurus let their customer down, but rather always willing and able to take control of the situation. They are always cheerful and a pleasure to deal with.”
2OPHealth, Director and Psychiatrist, Dr. Frank Chow“I was uncertain with the business and marketing strategies prior to engaging with Taurus. Through the Taurus Bullseye™ strategy session, I received the marketing strategy proposal that actually doubles up as a business strategy proposal which has been really helpful with my business planning."

Client Services Outcome
The Taurus team divided their approach to the awards into various strategies: Profiling the organisation itself, the CEO Serafina and those nominees for the awards. The results were outstanding and all parties worked together as a team. The nominees assisted with their own story and were profiled (some for the first time) in mainstream media on broadcast, radio and mainline dailies. The drip of news coverage ran for six months leading up to the event. On the night of the awards, journalists were invited to cover the breaking news when Greg Norman was announced as the Australian of the Year 2015.
