After working in marketing for almost 3 decades, across 4 continents and over 1000 brands, Sharon has built and grown an industry leading and award-winning integrated PR & Marketing agency. We are delighted that Sharon has just secured the award for Australia’s Top Ten Women Entrepreneurs 2019, run by the UK’s Business Game Changer Magazine.
Sharon was chosen from more than 300 applicants who had been shortlisted for the award. “Being awarded this wonderful accolade is humbling and particularly special to be recognised in a country I grew up in and love. I believe there were many other successful applicants and am honoured to be recognised. It’s always great to be on a Wall of Fame somewhere” said Sharon, excitedly.
Throughout her career Sharon’s passion has been growing and retraining careers. Sharon founded a graduate and intern TaurusFastTrack© program to empower and inspire Australia’s youth. Since it began, Taurus has fast-tracked over 500 graduates, one being Troy Douglas who dubbed Sharon the ‘Networking Queen of Sydney’. Troy is an ex-Taurus FastTrack Graduate Intern (2009) and after mentoring and support from Sharon and her peers, is now the Co-Founder of Nexba Beverages, a multimillion-dollar business.
Sharon shares, “My entrepreneurial journey has been of consistent hard work, re-invention and evolving with a passion to be the best I can be for clients and the team. The world continues to get smaller and reaching out across countries is a professional requirement today.
