Did you know that coronary heart disease is the leading single cause of death in Australia?
Longstanding Taurus client Domo recently partnered with the National Heart Foundation to improve its digital processes to allow the organisation to continue its positive impact on the community, including funding lifesaving research and promoting disease prevention.
The Foundation’s Head of Data and Insights, Jessica Davies, recently shared more on the partnership with the Institute of Company Directors Australia’s Community Advocate publication. She explored the Foundation’s partnership with Domo, including how the company improved the visibility and management of the Foundation’s data to help its teams use data to make well-informed decisions, bolster fundraising efforts and better manage volunteers.
Before the partnership with Domo, teams would dedicate three to four days each month to finding, analysing and reporting on data and separate teams were allocated with responsibilities for fundraising campaigns, processing funds, and allocating funds into programs, with data siloed in different locations and formats. These teams were hampered by manual reporting processes and the use of separate datasets resulted in incomplete, inconsistent and often incorrect data.
With the Domo partnership, today in minutes each team can access data to compile reports, provide information to governments, source and distribute volunteers to different programs, distribute donations and conduct research. The foundation is now more proactive than reactive, giving all its people equal access to data – in a simplified and easily digestible manner.
